66 Trim Tag
Where is the trim tag located on a 66 C10?
What site can I go to for decoding? thanks |

Trim tags are located on the backside of the glove box door, as well as, between the seat springs and the padding of the seat back behind the driver side. The VIN tag is on the upper door jamp of the driver side door. The GVW tag is on the driver side kick panel. The VIN tag will give you the year, style, origin and number off the assembly line. The paint codes can be found, written in wax pencil, on the driver side of the firewall. I hope this informtion is helpful.

thanks for the info. I checked and the trim tag is no longer on the glovebox door. Any markings that were on the firewall have long been covered by flat black.
