This was a fairly lenghty install. There is no circuit panel in this cluster now. It's all hardwired with a 12pin connector.

I wish! I do have an auto meter catalog that I picked up at carisle swap meet that has all the dimensions of each gauge! Just need a cluster to measure from!

2 larger holes are just a hair under 5", the middle just under 3" and the 4 smaller ones are 2 1/16
seems as if aftermarket gauges were made for these clusters ![]() |

Here's another thread with some pictures as well..
http://64.246.42.114/vboard/showthre...threadid=18599 I'm going to go with the white autometers when I actually get some time to work on the truck.

Hey Purs, where did you find that glove box door? I've thought about trying an effect like that, in order to match the dash bezel. Was that an all chrome door that you painted the panel on? Thanks man, appreciate any info.

Someone here posted thier dash a while back but I cant find it anywhere!
It was an autometer complete setup but he used the silver super comp series with a black bezel. Most amazing setup I've ever seen. Thats what I plan on doing to mine soon. Looks like the one Purs posted but in silver. |

Glove Box
Barn9, I got it from a guy here in Abilene. It was an all chrome glove box door, then he had a pattern cut out of black vinyl with adhesive on the back he stuck on it. I thought it matched the dash bezel perfectly. Call Gary at 915-691-1944 if you want one. Tell him Brit sent you. Here's one that was in my old Jimmy.

Thanks Purs, appreciate the info. The ashtray really helps tie it all together, I like that. Out of curiosity, does he stock these 2 items, and do you know the prices?

thanks kpf.
Yeah, I really, really liked the way the interior looked on my Jimmy with the white paint vs. the black and chrome dash accessories. I liked it so much that I'm 90% sure that when I paint my current truck, I'll paint it white. Barn, don't remember exact prices, pretty high, but it was worth it to me. Every time I got in my Jimmy I thought, man this looks good. ![]() I've got some higher resolution pics if you want me to email them.

Those recessed Autometers look ultimately fine!
I take it there is a plate mounted behind the dash that they are mounted to? Really looks the best to me. ![]()

Well I bought the dash bezel and I have 3 of the small gauges I want recessed but I am wondering what you guys used to secure the gauges into the bezel.
