Water Pump
I pulled a stupid and tried to save a dollar by buying a Procomp electric water pump off of Ebay. Well it seems to pump ok but I cant stop all the leaks. I sealed the leaks were there are gaskets or O rings but now I believe its leaking into the motor. Yes it did come with a waranty but whats the point of returning it and getting another if its going to be the same story. Should have done it right the first time.
So I been looking around and most of the named pumps are in the same general price range so I was wondering what pumps you guys run and maybe someone can steer me in the right direction this time .

Re: Water Pump
I had the same exact thing happen to the Pro Comp I bought last year, was in a bind and needed a pump to go racing. Ended up putting an aluminum Pro Comp stock style pump and the Mr. Gasket electric motor from 1983 back on the truck. I need to buy a CSI or something for this year. Pro Comp's electric pump is off the list for sure.

Re: Water Pump
I hate to say it...but for a SBC pump the elcheapo Proform works great. I had one on the 406 for 3 years b4 I sold it and it's still going strong. Thats the only part from proform I would ever concider using.
BBC...Meizere or CSR. I run a Meizere myself
