Re: rear window instal.

put a small rope all the way around it and leave some hanging out the side, then pull the rope slowley so the lip can seal, after you pull the rope all the way around you might have to adjust it some, just put some soap in there and get it where it needs to be.

I recommend you use a new rubber seal.
Mix up some soapy water in a spray bottle, place a 1/4" rope from the top around the glass in the seal down to and under the bottom corners.Spray all contacting surfaces, place bottom of glass in first(its best to have two people one on inside one on out to help push)Starting at the bottom pull the rope so that the seal lip folds and overlaps the metal edge.Do this on both sides untill you meet in the middle at the top of the glass.

Re: rear window instal.

Nylon parachute chord works the best its a lot tougher than cotton rope and its smoother so it pulls easy, BE CAREFUL on the corners if you use too much pressure pushing on the glass you will rip the rubber gasket, ask me how I know bummer start all over again with a new gasket! Another thing to keep in mind for those doing body and paint. If you look at the pinchweld around the window opening (front and rear) you will notice it is not uniform,I always urs a hammer and dolly to tighten up the gap between spot welds then very carfully gring the edge so it is smooth with no burrs or protrusions . You will be amazed how much easier the glass goes in plus you get a better seal. Hope this helps sum of ya! Steve

Re: rear window instal.

I did mine at home with help from my dear old mom. She pushed on the outside and I pulled the rope on the inside. Its helpful too to have a plastic scraper to help pick at the inside edge of the rubber if it doesn't want to slide into place after the rope has gone by, and keep everything wet, I used spray window cleaner.

Re: rear window instal.

I use the rope trick and started at the top two corner's. The corner's can be a real pisser if they hang up the rope. I have done them from both directions and top to bottom is by far the best for me.
Having two helper's is the only way to do it.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
