operation cab floor needs your help!!!

Okay anybody please look at the two sets of pics and tell me which way the floor is suppose to line up. I think the first two are correct, but when I look at the sub crease at top of panel, it doesn't line up with original floor. the second one has me questioning the door area but the sub crease on top of the panel matches the original floor. I'm a little scared but ain't gonna give up. I know I can do this, it's my first attempt at any restoration. I know I should be using braces but finances doesn't allow me the commodity. please help asap I have a four day window to get floor panels, inner and outer rockers in.

I always trim and break the new panel where the floor meets the firewall keeping the factory look.

I use the floor board line at the rocker panel to determine the position of the floor board patch panel. The stock ribs/breaks in the floor board patch panel can be made to fit accordingly. I always do a lot test fitting with the floor board patch panel, inner & rocker panel prior to welding anything. Take your time and you can make it happen.

Great timing! I just got, well going to go and pickup my 63 tomorrow. It comes with an extra cab for parts but both floors are in bad shape. Where did you get the floor panels?

got my floor panels from LMC but if you want to spend a little more I here tabco makes a much better one.

I own a 1962 and a 1965 k20. I've notice that the floor panels are differant in relationship to the rib. I also ordered replacement floor panels from LMC. They lined up perfect in the 65 but not the 62. Iwas told the 62 has a narrow frame.

How do you get the stock floor pan out from between the floor support and the "dogleg"? I have the piece I need to replace cut out and the spot welds removed on the floor support. I have also removed the welds on the front of the cab support to front edge of floor pan. It's loose but doesn't want to slide out. Is the something I am missing?

check out the pics at the beginning of this thread, the floor actually includes the inner rocker, so you will probably have to cut that as well.

ya i have the inner rocker cut. I am using the same panels as above I am just cutting the pannel down more.
