Auto column/linkage question
The short bed I just got was a manual. I am going to run an auto in it. Has anyone used the stock linkage to do it with the motor still pushed back? Or does anyone know of a kit that will work with the stock column.

Re: Auto column/linkage question
Lokar makes a cable kit for column shift.

Re: Auto column/linkage question
I used Lokar's cable linkage on my truck... It works great. The cable can be run around things that might be in the way and it isolates the transmission from the column. The solid, rod-style linkages with transfer torque to the steering column because of the "direct" connection between the two. Here is a link.
