Can anyone tell me what is ment be an Intergrated and a Non-intergrated engine.

The only time I've heard a term similar to that used in regards to our trucks is the "integral" or "integrated" intake manifold used on some 6 cylinder engines. All it means is that General Motors in a moment of "dumbness" decided to cast the head and intake manifold into one piece...
Nobody that I know wants an integrated head. I've heard from mechanics, machinists and regular folks like ourselves to stay away from them. Personally, I've never messed with them so I don't know anymore... Someone else may know more than what I've mentioned.. Here's a bump for you... |

The basic engine is the same, just the head is crap
They are ok with the integrated head till they get hot & then the head will prolly crack You can put the old 250 head, intake & exhaust manifolds on the block & basically have the non integrated version |
