Re: Some pics!
I have some of that too....but it was nearly 70 here just a few days ago.
The first one is down my driveway, the other is my heighbor's back yard out my side door. This has all fallen/blown around since last night around 7 or so. Blizzard of '08 as the news people are calling it. |

Re: Some pics!
The Georgia weather around here is crazy. One day it's cold, next it's warm, next it's cold, then rainy, then hot, then there are those days like today where it's windy as heck.

Re: Some pics!
longhair, you been out in it yet? I just got done shoveling the driveway... my back hurts.
I was out and about all day yesterday in it, even had to pick up adam (board member Alvin) and run him to the air port. It actually started more around noon yesterday... I was on the road literally all day yesterday. Took the burb for a spin today... was gonna go to my sister's place for her birthday. Was doin OK when she called me and said the snow was waist deep in her complex and they weren't doing anything about it. Yeah, I tuned around and went home. |

Re: Some pics!
No Andy I haven't been out, but I only had a dusting here before it got dark. I went to the grocery store Thursday night on the way home from work because they predicted this. They were actually right....this time. It was just a couple of weeks ago when the forcast was nearly identical and we got nothing. Some saved stuff on my DVR and Netflix...restfull weekend.
I have been spending my time cleaning up my basement from the flood I had last week. Major water back-up after all of that rain. |

I'm hoping to check out your weather for a few years if my wife can get us posted in Alice Springs. I'm tired of this cold stuff.

Re: Some pics!
the oficial snow amounts here in columbus was 16 to 20 inches!
As longhair indicated, we had some flooding around here last week from tons of rain... makes me wonder where all this snow is gonna go... esp since it is supposed to be near 60 and raining heavy come friday. These 6 foot snow drifts don't just disapear over night. |

Re: Some pics!
You're lucky to have only this small amount of snow on your truck, tonight here it's a big snow storm with 60mph wind. We have receive a total of 12 foots of snow this winter, 30% of this snow is melted but a large amount stay in the yard.

Re: Some pics!
We were supposed to get a few inches out of this storm but it missed us. I had to run up to Midland MI last night for work and never saw a flake.
