Re: Ebay: '68 C-10
It has a lein on it. Guy probably bought it, ARM on his house went up to 14%, gas prices went up 200%, and he needs at least what the balance of the truck loan is to make ends meet
Looks legit to me. Last edited by Jim_PA; 03-12-2008 at 06:26 AM. |

Re: Ebay: '68 C-10
It is a nice truck but I think the best thing that we get out of our trucks is working on them. I would rather spend 20K building a truck over 10 years than buying one already done. There is a satisfaction in doing the work yourself. I love these trucks

Re: Ebay: '68 C-10
Amen to that. Yeah its nice to have one already done...but where is the satisfaction when someone asks you did you build it and you say no I bought it like this. Anytime I have built anything...I have replaced every last nut bolt and screw in it.

I agree to a degree... As is says in my signature BUILT NOT BOUGHT.. I have built all of mine and I am proud of that..I have seen many instances were somebody gets one 80% done and looses interest or funds to finish it and just basically gives it away for half of what they have in it.... I know what I have in my cars and I have seen ones just as nice for less $$$$$$...

Re: Ebay: '68 C-10
There is nothing wrong with buying a finished project. Just becouse someone oesn't poses the time, knowledge, or the urge, to spend a billion hrs on a vehicle, doesn't make him/her any less of an enthusiast.

No vent above the radio? Was the vent an option?

Re: Ebay: '68 C-10
I'm pretty sure I've seen trucks with the vent above the radio and no a/c. Did it come with the heater option?

Re: Ebay: '68 C-10
no. The vent was A/C only, and all A/C trucks (not dealer installed stuff, assembly line installed units) came with that vent.
