72 Blazer on/off rd package?
Maybe this is a dumb question, but just what is the on-off rd package? Thought maybe it was the rims? Just curious if anyone knows. I put a new gas tank in the old gal and she fired up after sitting for over 3 years! Blew a lot of rust and a mouse nest out of the pipes too! Needs a little brake work but after that its on the road again. Can't believe someone let a truck like this sit outside and rot! At least the last 2 years were spent in a garage!

Picked it up about a month ago for 2200. The guy had plans of removing the drivetrain and putting in a modern setup. Glad I stopped him, the motor is the original 350 that was rebuilt with only 30000 or so miles. It purrs like a kitten!. Will post some more pics soon!

If you look you can see H78-15-8, that was the tire size they put on it. That must have been a particular tire option, maybe an early all-terrain of sorts.
VERY nice rig, more pics please!

Does it have tranny and fuel tank skid plates? Nice blazer.

I did find it on Craigslist in KY. Seems to be all there except someone replaced the plaid inserts. There are no skid plates. The air is all intact. Someday the Plaid will ride again.

Re: 72 Blazer on/off rd package?
I ordered mine with the on - off road tires also. Bummer. It came in with H78X15 Goodyear snow tires. And polyester cord, no less. Blew them all before 500 miles. (couldn't stand letting air down for sand) If would have know what they were, wouldn't have ordered them. Even the rims were no good. Narrow. I'll inclose a picture of what you got.

Nice score, and good save with the original motor still in tact.
