Leaf spring question

I was thinking of getting Beltech 6800 shackles/hanger. It says it is for 2.5 "
leafs mine are 2.25 what can be done ? I am trying to keep this on the cheep.

I've never seen 2.25 leafs on the rear of a 73-87. I wonder if somebody swapped them in from something else?

The width of the leaf springs measures a strong 2.5" where the opening of the front hanger is around 3" wide.

I am a jack ass!!! That's what I get for measuring witha cheep ruller from work. Either that or I need my glasses checked. Busted out the tape measure an 2.5
