Question Anybody know of source for NP205 shifter bolt

The NP205 I'm putting in my 69 K20 is missing it's bolt to attach the shifter to the transfer case's adapter. Okay, missing is a bit of a lie, I used it on the shifter in my 70 K5 - but anyway, I'm needing one.

I called a local GM parts store and they said that is not a serviceable part so they couldn't order one.

This NP205 is out of a 1984 1 ton, but I doubt that matters. I do have a WTB thread in a 4x4 forum I visit, but not getting any response yet.

I'll get a thread going in our classified section, but does any one know of a source where I could order one online? I do have a buddy who can make me one, but I hate to bug him with this as he is pretty busy.

Angry Re: Anybody know of source for NP205 shifter bolt

Is there a difference between the early/late style of adapter as far as this shifter bolt? I ordered that same bolt for my 71 K20 (auto/205) and it isn't even close thread size. It is way to big to even think about threading in to the adapter.

I am really stumped on this one. Never heard of this????????

Re: Anybody know of source for NP205 shifter bolt

i had to redrill and tap my adapter to use the bolt listed in this thread, so i believe there is a difference dependent on year. my adapter is a 71
