Re: Free: 1965 Suburban Custom
Nice score dude.........I have a 'burb also and its been fun to work on so far. The only downer is the rear gate stuff is not re-popped. And its usually beat. Also a Riv.....nice....I love those years of that car. I think the body style was ahead of its time.

Make sure you include pics of that Riviera. You should have bought a lottery ticket that day also.

Re: Free: 1965 Suburban Custom
i will be picking them up on Friday so i will take a lot of picktures to document the start of this project.you know when i first saw the Sub the first thing i noticed is that it was an A/C cab then i noticed that it only had two front doors.i guess that is the norm on these trucks? i know 67-72 subs, this is a whole different enchilada for me. so the next thing i noticed is that it had a split 60/40 seat in the front and two bench seat in the back all in original upolstery.then i moved out back to the rear of the truck and it had the clam shell gate which looked rust free and in great working condition.the boby looks straight with just some surface rust or patina , what ever you want to call it. it still has the original white paint with the gold interior.it also comes with 4 extra doors and 3 extra hoods. so like i said i will post pics this Friday. so your ideas on this build are greatly appriciated. Tony

Re: Free: 1965 Suburban Custom
Free BURB score.... Great deal.... SAVE THEM ALL....
And a Buick Wildcat... your definately living right..... Ignore the Idaho tags it doesn't live there anymore.. It's a 61 with a later model hood but gives you an idea.. Last edited by soba_03; 04-17-2008 at 11:33 PM. |

Re: Free: 1965 Suburban Custom
Yes, I want to know where those came from, too. The drawing of the 67-72 with them on is almost the exact paint job and everything that I'm doing. Boo
