Do I Buy it?
That is the question. So, a good friend of mine at school owns a 68 c10 4x4, swb step. Has no motor, no trans, but the body looks pretty decent. He's asking $900.00 for it and I just wanted y'alls opinions on it and whether or not you think I should go for it.

Re: Do I Buy it?
You already have a pretty nice project truck, so unless you need a parts truck I would pass on it.
You're only 16, the best advice I can give you is: ONE project at a time. Save your $$$ and go to College. Finish at least one project that you love before you get married and don't ever let her talk you into selling it.

Re: Do I Buy it?
Agh well that's the joy of doing a frame off to it. I don't have to worry about buying gas for it for the next ten years

Re: Do I Buy it?
Better double check , but from what I can tell in the pics. It looks like somebody has put the 68 body over on a newer frame 73- up. There are several differences I noticed right of the bat. The motor mounts, the front bumper, Disc brakes on the front, etc. Might not be an original 4wd.

Re: Do I Buy it?
At 16 years old I would stick to one project at a time.
