Where is the galavnized steel?
In 1983 GM started to add galvanized steel to parts of the cab and the bed. Also, various parts of the bottom of the cab and bed were coated to reduce rust.
Additional galvanized steel parts were added in successive years through 91'. Any idea what parts were galvanized in a 1986 cab, fenders, doors and hood? Thanks. Lester |

I thought it was all galvinized except the hood and roof.
Not sure, but thats what I remember.

On the bottom of the cab, everything you see here:
This is an '86 cab. The floorboads inside are also galvanized. Nothing else was as far as I know.
