RE7 rear bag ride height
I am almost ready to buy my rear bags. I am looking at the RE7's and I have two questions
1. right now I have 4" ECE drop springs in the rear & 2.5 drop spindles in the front I do not plan to bag the front. My overall wheel Dia. in the fron is 28" and rear 30". What is the normal ride height of rear bags? 2. What does it take to install these bags? Do I need any additional brackets for the air bags? Thank you for any advice or help

Re: RE7 rear bag ride height
I didn't want the rear to sit lower than the front at ride height

Re: RE7 rear bag ride height
I used a small cup in the rear to keep from hitting the frame because I didn't use a c-notch. I also didn't have to drill a huge hole in the spring plate because I was able to route the hose out of the side of the cup.
Ride height on an RE7 is about 4" for the best ride quality. With the 2.5" cup I had, it was about the same as a 7" spring. Not sure how tall a drop spring is, but they say you should notch the frame at 4" of drop. I never hit the frame and at full dump, my frame was just resting on the factory bump stops.

Re: RE7 rear bag ride height
i think 6-7" is recommended ride hieght for those. 2.8 is fully compressed and 10" is fully extended if i remember correctly. i ride around with 40 psi in the rear of my mini and it feels a little too stiff.
