Which one do you think looks better
with these valve covers.. I like either the first oval or the last round that looks the same.. Maybe someone out there knows of a better air cleaner.

Re: Which one do you think looks better
Id say it depends how your intake mainfold looks. If its nice and polished up, you might want to show it off a bit more and use a skinnier air filter #1. Not to mention... it does look pretty damn nice.

Re: Which one do you think looks better
It depends on your build....
1 and 4 are traditional and 2 and 3 are high-tech. Those valve covers are not traditional, so I'd say 2 or 3. Nothing looks worse than mixing High-tech and Billit with traditional.

Re: Which one do you think looks better
To tell the truth, although I like the classic round cleaner, it doesn't go with those valve covers. How about something like this?

Re: Which one do you think looks better
I'm thinking round also. 1. it looks better in an older truck and 2. it is easier to get a new replacement filter for it unless the ones in there are washable.

Re: Which one do you think looks better
How are the first and last filters fitted? Is there some sort of jubilee clip underneath?

Re: Which one do you think looks better
I saw them putting one of these on an engine on Power block on Spike TV. I am guessing the base attaches to the carb somehow and the lid has some studs and you attach it from the bottom so you don't see the wing nuts or whatever is being used.

Re: Which one do you think looks better
Another vote for the round/finned Edelbrock one. Those would be sick with a set of Finned Edelbrock VC's...
