Good finds! I'm jealous. Could do with a rear chrome bumper and dash pad myself!

for what its worth, I went junkyarding last month and picked up a complete factory tach cluster , perfect hood, and all the trim pieces for my headliner...all for $60! I then turned around and sold the cluster on E-bay for $125!!

If you decide to sell the cluster PUT IT ON E-BAY!!

Damn 400 bones? Thats outragous. It costed me about that much for the AutoMeter Gauges.

Big Speedo ($100 give or take)
Big Tach ($100 give or take)
Small (2-5/8") Mech. oil press ($50 g or t)
Small (2-5/8") Elec. Water Temp ($50 g or t)
Small (2-5/8") Elec. Fuel Level ($50 g or t)
Small (2-5/8") Elec. Volt meter ($50 g or t)

I bought all the gauges at a local shop (Lopers) the sales people will usually give you a better deal if you just ask. They gave me a small percent off, not much but better then nothing.

Great find. You stole them parts. I used to be able to get deals like that around here. It seems lately damn junkyards want as much as the dealer for their junk. I think one thing which is going in neck of the woods is people are keeping their cars longer, for whatever reason, so the junkyards are raising prices on their stuff.

They make a killing off this stuff too. Just think about all the parts they sell off of a typical wreck.

yeah i know when my dad was fixing his frontend because of my mistake (ooopppsss) we were pricing things, and since he works for an oil company and they purchase every vehicle they own from ford they get a 40% discount, but we were looking at hood and we could get it new for 200 and we called around junkyard and they were all quoteing like 275-350, i was like are your crazy i can get it new for 200, there like fine we dont need your buisiness.
