Got a deal for someone
I am going to start getting the parts I need of the longbed truck for the shortbed project. If someone shows up with a trailer(and maybe some beer) they can have the roller. I'm keeping the wiring, wiper setup,grill,bumpers,dash,ect.. The tags expired in May. The title is in my name. I cannot store it so It will have to be picked up fairly quick. First reponse will have first dibs and we will go down the line. I don't want to send this to the crusher so someone needs to come get it.

Re: Got a deal for someone
It will have a complete body minus the hood. Al the glass and a spare windshield. Complete bed minus the chains for the tailgate and tail lights. Complete single exhaust with manifolds. Trans will be in the truck. Ferder wells and rad support.

Re: Got a deal for someone
There is a spot on the right side of the bed that is munched. Right in front of the rear tire. Other than that the bed is in good shape

Re: Got a deal for someone
What year? How is the cab with regards to rust and damage? I have a 62 cab but it wont work with-out some mods for the 64 frame that I am trying to get it on, and I don't have a welder to do the work. I think that a 63 cab would work (need measurement of the front two cab mounting holes width apart if you don't mind). I am in Los Angeles and could bring the 62 cab with me to go with your stuff if interested plus some - my cell is 626.298.4897 - Kurt (if that easier for you)

Re: Got a deal for someone
Whatever works for me. He wants the cab so I guess if nothing else we could take it off and put it in the drive way until he comes up. I work 8-5 Mon-Fri and can work through lunch to get off early if need be.

Re: Got a deal for someone
Oh ok...did you want to leave the cab at your place ?
I was willing to tow the whole thing back to my place, then lift it off at my shop with the forklift. A little less for him to drive, but whatever works for you. Would this coming weekend be better for you ?

Re: Got a deal for someone
I thought he was in LA. If he's up your way then take the whole thing. Coming during the week is fine with me.

Re: Got a deal for someone
OH CRAP...my bad....I got my directions mixed up....I had the wife check for me on my GPS...for some reason I was thinking north...anyway...Well then,
I would like the rolling chassis.....do you know if it has been in any major collisions ?? Will the bed and tailgate come with it ?? Later... Sorry about the 'my' confusion

Re: Got a deal for someone
The bed goes. It has a munch in front of the rr tire. To my knowledge it has not been in to major collisions. I got it from the og's grandson. It was used to haul a camper and work around the ranch. The mucnh was from getting high centered by the og's grandson. The tailgate has a couple of dents but you can have it too. I will be keeping the chains for the short bed.
