Does any one have this
Looking for a template to cut my dash to install a factory a/c system in my 71. Was hoping someone in the past has done this so I can skip the trial and error process.

I know I thought of that but this dash is clean no dents no rust. Thought I remember someone doing one earlier but now I can't find it.

Could you use the template from Vintage Air? They used to have the download on their site. Don't know how much different it is from the original, though, but looks close.

Re: Does any one have this
Hutch thanks thats the thread I remember. I was feeling frustrated then my wife came in and told me to just buy the Vintage Air system as I was having too much fun trying to get a factory system together

Re: Does any one have this
The center vent template is the only one your can use from vintage air. The side vents are way off.
I think i still have a template a board member sent me. I'll check when i get home. I made a copy and kept the origonal. I'll mail it to you if my wife hasn't thrown it away. Its much easyier to cut the holes then to change the dash. It took me about an hour with a cut off wheel, little grinder wheel on my drill, and a good file. Worked great. PM me your addy and i'll drop it in the mail tomorrow.

Re: Does any one have this
i've got the template i used for my factory ac convert from non ac. wife didn't toss it. Let me know, i'll mail it to you. Mine turned out good. Like i said i used the VA template for the center vent.
Heres a pic of the fun i had gathering up a system, minus the vent hoses and seal kit that it took to get mine cold. Let me know.
