1953 Ford
Today I had the day off. So I took out the 1969 Firebird to visit my friend, Vic, owner of Victory Automotive in San Jose.
Vic has been restoring a 1953 Ford truck that was his grandfathers. Just thought that some people here on the forum would like to see his work. The engine is a Mercury V8, 410 ci. Just for giggles I have included a couple pics of my firebird. |

Re: 1953 Ford
That's a cute little hot rod Ford. With the Merc ohv and the reverse steelies it is a pretty accurate representation of a late 50's early 60's hot rod F-100.
Great color too. It may not be a Chev but it is nifty. |

Re: 1953 Ford
nice 53. I almost had deals for 2 different one`s. Too bad your buddy used a 54 grill. The 53`s look much better but still a nice truck.

Re: 1953 Ford
Nice truck. I know that shop. I live just a couple of blocks away. They do good work. Its cool you know Vic. I've heard a lot of good things about him but never met him myself.
. Nice 69 Firebird BTW. I just sold my 68 camaro a couple months ago. I love those early F bodies. -Andy |
