Not a truck, but an awesome GM find
I will understand if this post gets moved, but I had no idea where to post it and I had to share my experience since this is where I post all of the time.
I bought this all original (except for a rough paint job) 1964 Buick Lesabre with with 74K miles. It has been kept inside all of it's life. The interior is almost perfect except for the carpet and driver seat bottom. Everything works, even the underdash Sears AC. It's a 3 spd on the tree and no radio. This car is cool. I actually have something to drive to the show now since all my other projects don't run. I planned on trying to sell it at the local show this past Saturday which is the day I bought it. My wife fell in love with it as well, so I didn't try to sell it yet. I drove it about 150 miles the first day and never missed a beat. The only thing I plan on doing is put seat belts in the back for the kids. That's it besides maintaining it. Check more pix out here http://picasaweb.google.com/mx5miata...64BuickLeSabre

Great find, Alan! That interior looks mint. Gee I wish new cars had that kind of style. Aerodynamics ruined everything!

Re: Not a truck, but an awesome GM find
That thing is sweet....I love old GM 4-doors man...I would keep it, for sure.
A suspension lift with some 28" rims would be cool too.....

Very nice car!!!!!!
Those "for sale" cars at the Canton car show always seem to be priced way above reality so if you price it right it should move!

Re: Not a truck, but an awesome GM find
Pictures don't do this car any justice. You really have to see it in person to appreciate the full beauty and style of this car. The best part is that it's all original. You don't find them very often anymore in this condition.
I had the privilege of riding in it Saturday to the local car show and it rides like a dream.

It must be the last Buick ever with a clutch! Wow.... very rare I would think.

Re: Not a truck, but an awesome GM find
Way cool find.
My first car was a '67 LeSabre, same colors, maybe more of a teal interior, vinyl - bought it from my older brother and would have kept it if he didn't want it back so badly! |

You didn't say what the '64 set you back, but here's a pretty cool 2-door '65 on eBay for comparison:
