Re: One piece window kit
I believe there is a couple of members here that are using them.
Everything Ive read about it says a smooth easy install. Just hard to dish out 700 duckies right now with this economy.

Re: One piece window kit
I put a set in my buddies truck last year they look very cool but I was not able to make them roll all the way down they get jammed on the front edge of the door about 3/4 of thr way down. He does'nt care about them rolling all the way down since he really does'nt drive the truck that much.I'm considering the kit for my truck when I get started on it later this year. The windows seem to seal pretty well and the instructions are very well written with lots of pictures.

Re: One piece window kit
The windows won't roll down because they bind on the front of the doors where the hinge bolts onto I tried for a couple hours to adjust them so they would'nt bind only to have the glass to far back leaving a gap in the front lower corners of the window opening I have no idea what to do about the problem and the owner is happy with them the way they are. If it were my truck I would have made them work but this truck was already painted with a real fire paint job and I was not going to get carried away with trying to mod the doors at risk of dinging the doors and wrecking the paint job.

Re: One piece window kit
I have heard others say the same thing about these, just never have heard the reason why. I wonder if it's true for all, or if it has been addressed by the manufacturer.

Re: One piece window kit
Brothers doesn't make the kit, it is One Piece Products, and I have sold a number of them. If you want a personal opinion on them there are several people here that I have sold them to. 7T7 is one of them that has posted pictures. (see link at bottom)
IF you are running factory power locks, YOU must make a bracket to lower the solenoid mounting posistion to clear the glass and lenghten the actuator rod. trixter99 you talking about the 67-72 kit? None of the 73-87 kits that I know of have issues with rolling all the way up or down and I have sold a number of them. Edit Just reread the post below and know it was the 73-87 you were talking about... Ya'll are confusing the 67-72 kits (which require tweaking to go up and down on Power window versions) with the 73-87 kits.... AGAIN http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=276412

Re: One piece window kit
Thanks for the clarification, I am thankful as I really want one of these for my ride when the build gets that far.
Appreciate it! Drew
