How much paint?
Hey guys I haven't posted in a long time, been swamped at work and the weekends spent getting my ride ready for paint. The frame is done, new body bushings, and body work getting really close. For you guys that have recently done your Blazer/Jimmy's in base/clear, about how much paint did you end up using for the entire outside? I have the inside covered but need to buy for the outside. Looking to use the Jimmy so no trailer queen here so umpteen coats are not in it's future. Just curious so I know approximately how much to buy. Thanks

I Just Did Mine In And Out This Last Spring Base Clear (nice Quality But A Driver)
Inner Tub, Inner Rear Tubs, Inner Front Wheel Wells, AND WHOLE OUTSIDE INCLUDING CORE SUPPORT Limpco Brand 2 Gallons Even Less Than A Pint Left Over So A Good Coat On The Outside Base Clear I Would Say Around Or Just Under A Gallon But I Wasnt Guy On The Trigger It Was My Buddy I Just Know How Much Material I Bought Last edited by DANTES JIMMY; 08-08-2008 at 05:28 PM. |
