custom one piece taillights

I said I wasnt going to post pics till done with them but couldnt help. Got my aluminum trim done for my one piece taillights. They are not perfect, but it took a few trys to get these. Im gonna mold the body in around them a bit, get nicer stainless screws and counter sink them in. Im also gonna put dark smoke lexan over them to hide the buckets.

Re: custom one piece taillights

I cut them on a cnc mill and used fluorescent light covers( I forget what they called LOL) to spread the light more. Im gonna put smoke lexan over to hide buckets. I may edit my program some to be more accurate. Not sure if its a good enough fit to make others happy.

I will post more pics after my smoke covers and put in led bulbs.

Re: custom one piece taillights

be careful cutting it, cracks easily. I used a die grinder with cut off wheel and a bench grinder to get the radius on the corners. Also dont press too hard drilling. I learned all this the hard way. LOL
