Longhorns rock
Went out and picked up 80 cinder blocks today....Those suckers were heavy...This truck of mine is not pretty to look at,but it sure is a work horse and always comes through for me...No problem hauling them home....Going to use them for the base to an out door wood fired pizza oven....Chevy's Rock......

Re: Longhorns rock
Not of this load, but it was not as loaded down as I thought it was going to be...Have been surprised at how much I can haul back there. Here is one I took a while back of a bunch of 3/4 in plywood.

Castiron9
How many people told you you were crazy for doing that ? These trucks are tough for sure. I have carried close to 3K pounds of Slate tile in my bed The guys didnt want to load it cuz they said they were scared, so I told them get off the forklift and let me load it I wish I had pics of it Thats why my friends refer to my truck as THE BEAST I see yours is too

Re: Longhorns rock
What he is not telling you is that is about the nicest longhorn bed on the planet! Notice the original paint, original wood, side toolbox w/perfect door...and it is a "Super" Cheyenne, if I remember correctly.

Re: Longhorns rock
The Pizza is the best...Nothing like wood fired oven pizza.Takes about an hr.to bring the oven up to temp....900-1000 degrees. Then like I said pizzas take about a minute, cook right on the brick oven floor...after your done with pizza you let the oven cool down and then maybe cook some home made bread..
