centerline 22"&24" wheels

I was thinking of putting the 22&24 smooth centerline wheel combo on my 81 shortwide.
My questions are:
Has anyone used these wheels
Hows the backspacing on the 22x9's (5.5") and 24x10's(6")
I'am also thinking of 255/30/22 tires for the front and 275/30/24 for the rears.
on centerlines website:
22's are--$269 ea
24's are--$369 ea

Tell me what you think..
Thanks,
James

Check on Streetsource. There's several trucks running 22/24 combos and list the tire sizes and backspacing they use to clear.

Re: centerline 22"&24" wheels

I don't know of anyone on here running 22/24's. There are some running 20/22 and 22's all around. I would think the backspace for 24's would be the same as 22's.

Re: centerline 22"&24" wheels

I thought the guy with the green and black truck that had the custom dash and eliminated his windows was rockin' 24's out back. For teh life of me I can't remember his name though...

I would think that back spacing would work just fine.

Re: centerline 22"&24" wheels

I went with 22's all around. I'll be running 265/30/22 and 285/30/22 tires. I thought 24's were just a little to big, plus i could'nt find a decent price for a 295/25/24 tire.

I called Centerline the other day to ask about the front cap not fitting... they now make a new center cap that fits the larger rotors, you just have to ask for them. Makes it easier than turning the nose down on a lathe.

Re: centerline 22"&24" wheels

I wanted to do a 20/24 set-up on my Blazer. What all do you have to do to tuck 24" wheels like that?

Here's a pic of a square body laying 20's and 22's with a Dropmember front and rear kit. You would need a little bigger step-notch in the back.
