Pin Striping & Wood Beds
I didnt want to waste two threads so I'll just use one..
I'm looking for picts of our trucks with some old school pin striping and also looking for picts of our trucks with wooden beds..I see you can buy a kit for it now and I'm thinking about it but would like to see picts of it, I've obviously seen it on the older trucks but never on a 73-87 thanks!

I don't have any pics of pinstriping on square body trucks, but I've got some of pinstriping on all kinds of other stuff... lol.

Re: Pin Striping & Wood Beds
I have seen the wood bed on some of the mid 70's trucks. This was on fleet sides too.
IF your truck was built at the flint plant there is a good chance that my uncle did the factory pin striping.

Re: Pin Striping & Wood Beds
yeah small world. My dad grew up in Flint. my uncal started at GM when he was 17 and just retired last year with all those nice GM benefits....... He started at Pontiac painting cars... then to flint truck.. then a few other plants. Before he retired he was assembling doors at the HD and heavy truck plant. It is too bad so much of gm's stuff got moved away and toyota is building in our southern states....
