Title says it.... deer took out my bedside and Id like to put my Cheyenne super back to original witht he corect fill hole int he bedside for the saddle tank... I will pick up within a reasonable distance from Alexandria, MN... Thnaks..

Mike, my brother in law has a whole truck he is selling. 72 4x4 i had on here awhile back. It has tanks on both sides of the box and the box is one of the nicest i have seen. It would be the whole truck or nothing i am sure. Let me know if you want more info. Eric

Sorry I dont have any pics ready, but my 72 should have the factory (as is on the SPID) aux tank on the drivers side only AFAIK. So since I have to do the body work on that side of the truck anyway, I thought I'd put the tank and filler neck back in it.... The previous owner, who you may have talked to in St. Cloud that day, had taken the tank out "cuz it always leaked and they were junk anyway" and patched the filler hole to make it look like any other bed... does that help???? What I am not looking for is the dealer installed riveted door filler on either or both bed sides... anyway... my wife's family is all from the Grand Rapids area, and next time Im up/over there we should hook up at some point....

I have a K20 and a C20 with the factory AUX tanks. I am sure I have an extra filler neck assy, cover assy and fuel tank. WHAT exactly are you looking for, or should I ask, WHAT do you have? I do have a NOS aluminum side door cover, BUT I understand that is the design that you don't need!!! Let me know! Thanks, Dan

Anyway, here is a pic or two of the FACTORY INSTALLED auxillary tank drivers bedside that I need. I also would be in the market for any other hardware that goes with it....I have nothing except the SPID, electrical switch on the left hand side of the dash, and the wiring harness. The tank does not have to be functional, just enough left for me to use as a pattern to weld up a new one...Thanks in advance guys...

Hi Mike,

I will try to dig out the stuff I have an get some pics for you. I would not waste any time trying to find a bedside with the auxiliary fuel tank hole. A good body man will be able to cut the inside and outside holes in any standard LH bedside. Thanks, Dan
