i have seen it on the website before, but can't find it. what year rearend would work?

i don't want to lay frame but want it to be lower. would like to have something different than other people around here. was thinking of a 9 inch, but by the time i buy a housing and axles and then get them cut and shortened. i will spend more than what i can pick up a vette rear suspension for.
i have a good lead on a good one, pretty cheap. would i have to back half the truck or can i beef up the stock frame and use it? any help would be great.
