77 GMC Sierra Classic 3+3 crew cab

hey does anyone know anything about the 77 GMC Sierra classic 3+3 crew cab pickup??? I have checked all over the internet and even called GMC dealers and noone has any info on my truck. The closest I can find is on NADA is a 77 GMC C25 Crew Cab wide side but I am not sure this is what my truck is. It has a 454 engin, lots of options including what they call a Suburban package. Any info anyone has would be greatly appreciated. Below is a pic of our baby.

Re: 77 GMC Sierra Classic 3+3 crew cab

crew cab means 4 doors....3+3 means it has two bench seats in it to seat 3 people in the front and 3 in the back...c25 means it's a 3/4 ton GMC truck, if it was a chevy it would be a c20...and someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure all the 3/4 ton and 1 ton trucks had a 454...wide side means it's a fleetside bed instead of a stepside bed...and I got nothing on your suburban package...

Now that is a real truck!
What are your plans for it? I like it just the way it sits.

For more information you might want to check out this website:

I think it is run by board member Bigblock73.

Re: 77 GMC Sierra Classic 3+3 crew cab

Thanks 84 400 i think she is nice the way she is too. We had the bed rhino lined because when we bought her the bed was almost completely rusted out. She has a few pretty bad rust spots and dents on the sides so we are thinking about doing a little body work but other than that we want to keep her as original as possible.

what the NADA says your truck is, is what it is...your truck is a 77 GMC C25 Crew Cab wide side...and I don't think it's rare...no more rare than all the other crew cabs out there...

Not all crews were 454, I have seen ex-road commmision trucks with 350's and even a couple 292 farm trucks.

Re: 77 GMC Sierra Classic 3+3 crew cab

My buddy just bought 2 of them, a '78 + '87 1 is a 3/4t and the other was a 1ton dually. Both had 454's & both had the "3+3" emblems. He parted out the Dually and is driving the 3/4ton

Definitely not rare. These were very popular for businesses. They have be in production the whole series 73-91.
The 77 did have the 1 year only yellow trim inlay though.

Re: 77 GMC Sierra Classic 3+3 crew cab

I joined this group the week I bought my first, an '81 GMC CC 3 + 3. It's got the 292 straight 6 with the 4 spd granny tranny. I regret i have no photos yet. I keep seeing the posts on the pics of long beds thread. They all look so cute and tiny next to my crew cab long bed!
