can I ask a favor, measurement needed

the next time someone is out working on their truck, and you have a dial caliper in hand and one of the gauges (speedometer or combination gauge cluster) is out, would you please let me know what the diameter is of the gauge opening.

I'm going to be installing an Auto-Meter 5" speedometer and tachometer soon but need to find out the diameter of the gauge opening as I need to have some rings cut out as the stock gauges are slightly bigger than the Auto-meter gauges.

Thanks!!!

I don't know what year your truck is, but if you look at my build page you can see what I did with mine. I found Houston54's page (he just posted with his info) I followed his instructions and they came out great. I havn't installed them in the truck yet. So if you still need the measurements let me know. Good luck. Check out Houston's page I learned a lot from his page.
