Tranny cooler question..
I had a leak in a line that ran under my oil pan....had a splice I think, there is a soft line there. Anyway, I noticed the leak yesterday, parked the truck, then tightened up the clamps this afternoon, fired it up, the leak stopped. BUT, my question is....does fluid run through these lines even when cold..? Just wanting to make sure that when it warms up it doesn't start leaking again... sorry newb question I'm sure haha Thanks, Joe

Re: Tranny cooler question..
If the engine is running, then the lines are pressurized.
The faster the engine is reved, the higher the pressure (to a point) When the engine is shut off, there is fluid there filled, but not under pressure. |
