Re: factory under dash lights

PM sent for pics. Put me 1st in line. I found a U29 Courtesy Lamp option in the Dealer Book. Could this be it? I have found no other reference to the under dash lamp.

Re: factory under dash lights

dewayne,i have seen that same option #U29. in books before

Tim. they are the same as what you have ,one bulb cover is black and the other is gray, and the wires are orange/white. i have found these in pretty well optioned trucks .they also curve perfect to our dashes .i think they are kinda cool.

Thanks for the pic and info Mel. Others have told me these only came in the Blazers as they did not have a cargo light.

bryanschevyparts...I think I will pass. I'd better use the $$$ on other areas of the truck. This resto is adding up.

Re: factory under dash lights

I had a set in a '72 Cheyenne Super, didn't realize they would be worth anything today. Still have the GB door, I'll check it and see if U29 code is listed. Have not seen them on a CST blazer, but, who knows.

Re: factory under dash lights

I always thought they were standard in the blazers, they had no dome lights if I am not mistaken, it could get pretty dark in their with out the under dash lights. I'll check some labels tonight and see what I can find.

Re: factory under dash lights

i have pulled them from at least 4 trucks over the years ,i have yet to see them in any blazers, but they will work in trucks/burbs/blazers.i think it was something the dealer added ! so more than likely it wasn't put on the spid.
