visor dimensions?
Anybody know if visors/mounts from a 67-72 truck will fit a 66?
I have nothing but 1 bare driver's side arm, can't find dimensions of whole visors anywhere. |

Re: visor dimensions?
I am not sure if the 67-72 visor will work but, the dimentions on the 60-66 visor are 21-7/8" X 6-1/4". I am including some pics as well. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

Re: visor dimensions?
Thanks, 502-
I can't see enough difference to worry about in the pics - if no one knows for sure I'll probably just buy the ones on the parts side I'm looking at. BTW - your engine avatar is amazing - one of several here that make me realize how much work my engine bay needs! (just test-fitting/connecting the 454 now) |

Re: visor dimensions?
LMC sells them and they are not expencive. You can get them in 6 or 8 different colors. The rod is sold seperate from the visor.

Re: visor dimensions?
the part that mounts to your inner roof is different, not by much. I think I just bent the mounting area to work for the time being, one is flatter than the other if I remember correctly. I also want to say that the inside edge hits the roof of the truck, which could be a problem with the bending of the "flange" either way I'd try to get the proper ones if you could.
