Question Push Through bullet caps???

Does anyone know who makes a bullet style push through cap for 5 on 5 lug steel wheels? I like the look of the spider caps, but am to cheap to spend the money? Do the 3 1/8th astro supreme caps fit these wheels?

these are the ones I have for my 6 lug wheels... they do not make a size that fits exactly on these wheels so I just flared the bottoms out a little...
its a driver so I was not worried about it being perfect

I am switching to 5 lugs on this truck and got another set that fits perfect on 5 on 5 wheels....they are sold as a 2-15/16 diameter...

Re: Push Through bullet caps???

ok.... i just went to look at mine to make sure i knew wth i was talking about.
the caps that I bought for my 5 on 5 wheels measure 3" accross.... well as my luck goes so does the center hole on the wheel... they pull through from the back...if the lip on the cap was 1/16" bigger it would be perfect...

I am going to make these work anyway....I was a Marine...improvise, adapt and overcome. Here are some pics.... i taped the cap to the back of the wheel to see how they would look..

Re: Push Through bullet caps???

Thanks for the help guys. I ordered a set of 3 1/8 off of Ebay for $29 shipping included today. I will keep you posted if they fit. If not.. I will have a set up for sale!! I will post pics of the before and after. I hate to cover up my Dutchman axles in the rear, as they are bragging rights, but the front looks dumb with out anything on them. Well not dumb just not as clean as when you see a spider cap or bullet cap. Stay tuned......

Re: Push Through bullet caps???

Ok guys.. They finally came in the mail today. Thanks for help and the push in the right direction. I did have to do a little modifying tho. I ordered the 3 1/8 caps. My wheels, 5 on 5 lug steelys, measured dang near that. I had to do a little filing and grinding on the inside lip. But they fight tight with no rattles. Check out the pics. I ordered from Lugnut King off of Ebay. Let me know what you all think..

Re: Push Through bullet caps???

Thanks guys. I sold my 67 this past summer, and moved over here to the 60-66's. I love it way more. I bought this thing with a fresh 350 4bolt, munci, eaton, ps, disc conversion and new paint. It was a barn find. I paid 4k. Now I am just trying to get all the bugs out of it. I did 3 inch blocks in the rear along with with new Jeep TJ rear coils and two inch springs up front.

The power steering was in, but not sure if its right. Cant seem to get it aliened. One tire turns farther then the other at extreme turns. Goes down the road like a dream tho.

I am currently looking for a bolt on c notch kit, shocks and adjustable panhard bar. I am gonna bag the rear and maybe go an inch lower in the front. Gonna stay with rat rod theme on this one.

I have my first kid on the way the big budget just got real small to almost nothing. So if you guys wanna donate parts (lol) let me know.. I am kinda new here so someone needs to PM me and let me know how to set up my build thread.
