Stiffening/strengthening trailing arm?
What are you guys doing to stiffen or strengthen your trailing arms? What are you doing while rebuiding them other than new bushings?

Re: Stiffening/strengthening trailing arm?
Short 1" welds in the seams of the truck arms about every 6" (top & bottom).
Welded the rear seam complete (top to bottom). Energy Suspension urethane bushings.

Whatever you do, don't box them. They are designed to flex. Boxing them will just brake something else.

Re: Stiffening/strengthening trailing arm?
Severe binding will break something. Under 'normal' driving conditions, boxed truck arms will survive just fine but an I-beam would be better.
