Looking for an instrument cluster

I am looking for an instrument cluster for a 1991 Chevy 454 SS pickup. So far I have not had much luck finding one. Hopefully there are some helpful people out there that know where I can find one. Please let me know. Thank you for any help you can offer.

Is there any difference from the regular c/k dashes to the ss dash? And if there isnt I have probably 3-4 of these clusters for a 88-91 What all is messed up on yours, that is if you have one? And if you dont have one do you care on the mileage that the cluster shows?

The dash itself is not different. The cluster, however, is different than that for a regular c/k series. The cluster for a c/k series has the speedometer that goes from 0-85mph. The cluster for the SS has the speedometer that goes from 0-110 mph.

I've been searching for a pin style cluster for my 90 SS for ages!! I hate the "pie-chart" looking gauges. I don't know who thought they would be a good idea.

Anyone wanna switch with me... but it has to be a direct replacement

dash cluster

replacing a 88-91 dash with a 92 up is NOT a direct bolt in. the ss454 website covered that once and there is a lot to it for a novice and definately not for the week hearted from what i read. DAVE

stock c/k cluster to 454ss

Im also looking for a new cluster for my '89 GMC Sierra Z71 and was wondering if the cluster from the 454ss would bolt in and work properly. Ive been looking for a speedo that will go atleast up to 110 for my truck but i want to maintain the stock type cluster. I was thinking that maybe if the 454ss cluster was identical to mine but with the higher mph it would work properly and give me that extra 25mph reading. Ive pegged mine out one to many times and im starting to get annoyed because i cant tell how fast im going. I was thinking that the gearing inside of the speedos would be different, thus throwing off my reading but thats just another question i need answered. O yea one more question, does the ss cluster have the tak in it because my stock cluster doesnt.
thanx everyone
