Re: Almost there! Pics
It does suck when you dont have any help. It is always better to have someone to guide that motor into the mounts so you dont smash your firewall. Is anything done to the motor.

Re: Almost there! Pics
my uncle put it together, new rings pistons etc....I was told 175lbs. pressure per cylinder if that means anything.....also put a mild cam and lifters in along with new intake......will also bolt up some new headers when she's in place....engine looks tiny eh?

Re: Almost there! Pics
ok good news and bad news.....
Good: Took the oil pan and found the 4 bolt main set up. Not bad for a free engine! OK the bad: Lost a big battle today. As a rookie engine swinger, I could not get the torque converter to match up with the fly wheel. Almost a full bolt width off. So I loosened the tranny bolts and then eventually lost the battle there. Now the Tranny popped off of the engine dowels causing me more grief. Was I supposed to bolt up them up prior to putting the engine all the way in? I didn't do it because I thought the dowels would make everything match up. I spent the entire day trying to getting everything set up and now this....I hate waisted time.

Re: Almost there! Pics
That sucks. Make sure your converter is in all the way, you should have enough room to pull the converter forward once the motor is in place. Good luck.
