If it's a solid truck the price might not be out of line.
It seems that there have been a lot of 2wd's for sale lately. A year ago at this time it was tough to find anything decent for sale. That being said, prices may be coming down on the 2wd's. There are more out there, and with the crappy economy probably fewer buyers.

If it's ready for paint, then it just may be worth all of the asking price.
