3/4 ton blazer?

my friend recently got an 84 or 85 blazer and was told that it was a 3/4 ton? ive never heard of one but i guess its possible? i know this alittle off topic but any info would be greatly appriecated!

Not possible as far as i know... At least not from the factory.

it had to be swapped in, thats the only way it would be a 3/4t.

Lots of guys make them into 3/4 and 1 ton trucks.

The military Blazers (M1009) had a normal half ton suspension, including the springs. The only thing that was more heavy duty than a normal civilian Blazer was the TH400 tranny.
