tailgate problem
the handle on my tailgate is stuck in the open position, but the gate is fully locked and the handle wont go back down. i cant tell you what really happened cause my dad was the one that pulled the handle and all he says was he just pulled it. and i dont know what to look for in there but il try to get some pics tommorow.

There are two rods inside the tailgate that go between the handle and the latches. I would say that one or both of the rods came unhooked and are binding up inside the gate.... LockDoc

If LockDoc is correct, which I think he is, then you will have to cut open your tailgate to fix it, then weld it back up. IIRC
