need advice
i am putting in a new hydro boost in a 82 chevy truck and i need to know how to properly place the retainer spring, push rod and retainer because when i installed the unit and started the truck the brake pedal goes to the floor and will not come back up like there is constant pressure and i believe that the placement of thes things is the problem so if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated

Re: need advice
I use both Chilton's and Haynes. But AutoZone publishes Chilton's, I think. Here's a linky to what may be your vehicle.
autozone's repair guide
