What do you think...
These are just some pics of a friends truck that some friends and I built a couple of years ago. I think it turned out good for a backyard project. What do you guys think?

Re: What do you think...
I don't remember the name of the color but the code is K7 (Dupont). We got it off of a fox body mustang, 1991-92 I believe.

Re: What do you think...
Do you know if your friend had any clearance issues with 3" spindles and 15 inch rims? I'm really loving this truck!

Re: What do you think...
Medium azure blue perhaps? Ford in the late 80's - early 90's?
I would put on a set of sport mirrors myself, those big flat doors need just a little chrome. But man it looks nice. Beautiful truck.

Re: What do you think...
I think you may be right on the color D13. It was either medium azure blue or medium lupus blue. We all work at a local FORD dealership. He saw the color, got the code and that was that.

Re: What do you think...
Thanks for all the compliments guys. I installed the engine, trans, exhaust and some of the suspension. We took the truck to another freinds house to do the body work and paint. The body was rough. Believe it or not it was truely a backyard project. The body work and painting was done in the driveway with a makeshift booth we made from a popup tent/carport from pepboys. It was a lot of fun and alot of hard hours. But hell, what are freinds for!

Re: What do you think...
What did the car ralley wheels come on with a 5x5 bolt pattern? I thought all the car ralley wheels were 5x4.75.

Re: What do you think...
That truck is hot
I absolutely love the color stance is a bout perfect only thing I'd do and maybe it's just the picture the body side molding sorry to be negative I tape a piece of sting tightly to the body anchored in front and back and apply the molding along that straight line but to be sure wouldn't kick it out of the garage over it sweet ride MArk

Re: What do you think...
The body side moulding was a last minute thing. We tried to get him to leave it off. He had to have it on the truck. He actually had a line taped to the truck but somehow it didn't come out right. To see it in person, you really can't tell that it's off line. The stance on the truck really fit with the muscle truck theme he wanted. Stock appearance, low, mean stance and that unmistakable Chevy sound.

Re: What do you think...
He actually bought the wheels from a local wheel/tire dealer in Greensboro NC.
I don't believe Chevy made a 5x5 bolt pattern for a car. The style is from the Tri-5 shoebox Chevy's. Thanks for the compliments.
