I have put antique vanity plates on several of my 4-5-6 Chevy trucks. What have you guys done on your plates?

Not a vanity plate, but an antique plate. Original 64' Missouri plate registered to the truck. No inspection required, no annual registration fee. Not to bad..

Great idea. I have a '64, a '65 and a '66 Kansas license plate. I am going to check into using them on some of my trucks. Thanks for the tip.

My first vehicle in 1981 was a '65 Chevy C10 lwb fleetside. I had MOTOR N on the license plate.

I did a google search for license plate restorers and I was amazed at how many sites came up.

Well the plate does not show up well in this pic. This one is from about 1992, before digital cameras...but the truck had a healthy straight six...

The plate said:

NOT A V8

There is also letering on the tailgate that said..."I could've had a V8". I will see if I can scan in a better pic...

My 65' Panel / Carryall has an original New Mexico 1965 Plate.
My 54' 3100 has an original N.M. 1954 Plate.
My 72' has an original N.M. 1972 Plate.

It's a Rt. 66 plate MVD is offering now. They're not classic plates, you can put them on anything. They also offer specialy plates for classic vehicles...Horseless Carriage and maybe a few others...

Got a pair of these for my '65. Sorry for the cellphone pic.

Very similar to Rogue's plate. I wish I had a '64 or '66, I really like the black background on your plates.
