Sorry to hear you had to sell it...it looks like it was on its way to a cool build up.

As of right now I'm not. I do have a customers 63 in the shop that I'm proto typing a custom back half that I can hopefuly make into a kit form.

Funny you ask I sold it to a painter in my complex. So in the future I probably will be plumbing the truck and some other chassis work. So i will be able to see it get finished

It's pretty simple. I don't understand why people tear out the frames on thes trucks and build some crazy bach half. The trailing arms on these trucks is where NASCAR got it's rear suspenson design from. The articulation and simplicaty of these suspensions is bad a$$. Put a c-notch in the frame depending on how low you want to go. Put a cross member to connect the c-notch and use it to mount shockwaves on the front side of the axle and put a watts linkage set-up off the back. This type of set up keeps the rearend perfectly centered and is the most stable through the hole travel of the air bag and any side to side movment. As for the front I instald a Jim Myer bolt in unit that would be welded in later. I will try and put some pics up tomorrow.

Looks like it was a cool project.
What were the wheel & tire specs in the pic (dimesions, back-spacing, etc...)?

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Looking for more pictures

The Bobby Alloway look of 'bigs and not so littles' gives a good stance.

(lets see how many people Google Bobby Alloway)

Re: 64 Short Bed Pro-Touring

Yes, it is the BentCustomandPerformance.com look.

Serve up some more pictures, 'dad'.

I'm glad I never new that truck was for sale, or I would have been an owner.
My 67 would have been side lined.
20's and 17's make for one wicked look, a Bent Custom look.
The signature Bent Custom look, step up, right this way...

Now off to craigs list to find my 64 backyard project....

Re: 64 Short Bed Pro-Touring

Again.... nice truck. The 'new' owner is enjoying it I'm sure. The details of your work are incredible BTW. I have a buddy @ a local DFW shop that does some nice 'bending'. It's definitely a craft.
