Vortec heads what plug?

I just finished putting a set of vortec heads on the 350 in my 60 pickup. The 305 heads that were on it had a short spark plug and the vortecs look like they take a long one. I'm running a .030 over 350 with a mild cam, headers and a late 80's GM HEI. Anyone have a suggestion on a spark plug number and gap? I've been happy with Bosch platinum but AC's are fine too.
Thanks
Fred

Re: Vortec heads what plug?

I typically just get plugs for the original application....1996-99 pickups. Some guys run different plugs, but I can't remember which ones. When I find it I'll post it. And X2 with Joe, post this in the engine and drivetrain forum and you'll get more response.

With a stock HEI I would gap them at .035
