lowering my 78
I have a 78 blazer 2wd. It has 2 inch drop spindles. Everything else in stock. I want to go a little lower. Is the best way to use 2 inch drop springs and shackle and hangers out back?
here is how it looks now

the spring hangers are a hassle to install, also the shackles you will have to modify the filler hose, a flip kit would be the easiest and cheapest

No. The shackles will bolt up but contact the gas tank filler neck on the passenger side. The hangers bolt holes match but you will have to cut holes in the bed floor as they are to tall. like flaming and tvblazer suggested, either a flip kit or remove leaves.

Depending on how much drop you want I would start by taking a leaf or two out. I installed a flip and ended up getting about 8" of drop
