Re: i'm about to start my s10 swap

Welcome, take some time to look at the build threads on S10 swaps, especially towards the end when some discuss changes they would made. I have done this on my 59 build and found many good ideas that saved me time and money. Keep us posted with pictures....

Re: i'm about to start my s10 swap

It's not that hard if you have the room. I'd start with the s10 strip it, get rid of all the sheet metal first to give you room. You might wanna keep a door incase you need sheet metal down the road. I don't know what your budget is, but you can use everything, engine,tranny,wiring,heating,A/C (if you have it) I buy a box of 5/16 bolts & nuts corse threads. Do a search for mongo's garage (Shows how to do the swap) If you need any close up pics let me know. I wish you luck man.

Re: i'm about to start my s10 swap

Good luck on your build. It took me about 4 to 4 1/2 months to do mine. If you have any questions just get up with me. My email is iokua80@yahoo.com. i don't get on this much anymore but I check my email often. Here's a pic of mine.

Let me know if I can help in any way.
Later,
Josh
