Tony. I don't have a clue about the blue wire you speak of. How does it pass thru the fire wall? Does it look factory? The black\white wires may go to the seat belt retractor. I have an 84 that has wires going to the left retractor only, jim

Re: Quick wire color questions...
I only have the manual for 84 and mine don't have a blue wire and it don't show up in the schematics for 84. You might get lucky and find an 86 manual or a dealer mechanic who knows. Sorry I can't be of more help, jim

Re: Quick wire color questions...
Thanks anyway Jim.. I will post a pic or 2 and maybe someone else can identify it.. its a light blue one.. seems strange that it gets a dedicated spot thru the firewall.

What year truck?
Where does the blue wire go to on the inside of the cab? Where does it stop? |

Re: Quick wire color questions...
I'm looking at the 86 wiring diagram in the Chilton manual and the only two blue wires go to the electric choke heater and the right front directional light. There is a blue wire from the ECM to the throttle position switch (with a gray and black wire in a connector). Hope this helps.
